What Causes White Discharge And Delayed Periods?

Hi I am 29 and I have been trying to conceive for the past two months. My last period was Oct 30 2014 and have been having unprotected sex the whole month of November. I was suppose to have my period on Nov 30th and now I am 2 days late and having a egg white cervical mucus. What does this mean?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, conception can be a complicated process and should not be taken lightly. I would first recommend a visit to a fertility expert or an obstetrician/gynecologist to make sure details like menstrual cycle, regularity, hormone levels, thyroid profile, etc; are all within normal. The next thing would be to learn more about your most fertile days and then try during those days. Technique, procedure, position, etc; are all important details.

As for the egg white vaginal discharge, this could possibly be a sign of an infection and so it would be best to consult your doctor with the presentation.

Best wishes.
