What Causes Wheezing Post A Tonsillectomy?

I had a tonsillectomy on thursday an the surgeon burnt everything possible inmy mouth (tonge throat uvula) i woke up today an thought i choking there is some pretty loud wheezing an i keep needing to cough and it hurts to breathe i feel like its real flemmy whats wrong?

Possibilitiies are reflux pharyngitis,trauma to pharynx following vomiting.Treatment invoves anti emetics for vomiting,painkillers (acetaminophen),proton pump inhibitors.Consult your doctor for the same.
