Husband drinks 3 litres of cider a day appx 3 work days a week then 6 litres each day and weekends he regularly passes out, wets the bed etc but doesnt see this as a problem. I am at my wits end of what to do. I feel like he is on a self destruct path and cannot take anymore
Your concern is justified and your husband does have a drinking problem. However, he needs to accept that there is a problem before he can be treated for it. If he is unwilling to listen to you, try to involve other family members and friends, especially those whom your husband respects. Ask them to talk to your husband and try to convince him to see a doctor. There are medicines available which can help him quit and salvage his life.
Best wishes.
