What Causes Wet And Continuous Cough?

hay.hope you will be fine but i am not.here it is 12:30am.every one in my house is sleeping but i am not. why?due to cough.i am continuously coughing since 2 hours.it is wet cough.i am facing mucus problem as well.the whole day i will be OK and fine.but when it starts i can not stop it before 2 hours.often i am facing it at 2pm and 9pm or it could be any other time as well.you can imagine my pain.when a person continuously coughing for 2 hours without stooping a minute, what will be his condition. and it does not happen only once in a day but twice time.it mean in a day i am coughing 4 hours continuously with mucus. can you please help me?

Hi.
The reason for your episodic coughing continuously during a typical time frame is due to the following reasons: It looks you are suffering from Allergic cough : I would suggest the following.
CT scan of the Sinuses and Chest to 'rule out' any underlying problem as a primary cause or as aftereffect / sequel of the allergy as you have a problem of more than a year.
In consultation with your Doctor / ENT Surgeon.
Tapering dose of oral steroids like deflazacort over 3 weeks.
Cetirizine with montelukast.
Vitamin A & Vitamin D in therapeutic dosage.
Continue with multivitamins- supports the immunity system.
Steroid nasal spray as was prescribe already.
Antibiotics only if there are signs and symptoms of infection.
Steam inhalation.
And
Most important to keep away from the allergens causing gall such problems. Your keen observation alone can find what to avoid. This is basically the mainstay of your treatment.

Get a Doctor with whom you can discuss this and get a proper examination and prescription.
