Hi doctor, my question is, I am on cerazette for over a year. I obviously gain some weight. But now I have stop taking it but can t seems to get most the weight off even I tried exercise and eat healthy. If doctor you can tell me why and what can I do.
Medications can cause weight gain. They do this in different ways: (1) increasing the appetite (2)decreasing fullness (3)slowing metabolism (4)decreasing energy and activity level
If you have altered your diet and there is no change in weight then you may need to use another diet plan. If you used the low fat/low calorie diet then you may need to try low carb instead or vice versa.
The type , intensity and frequency of exercise may need to be changed as well
I hope this helps
