What Causes Weight Gain If Eating Healthy After Reconstructive Facial Surgery?
hi I am about to go on topiramate for 6 months. I get migranes and had reconstuctive facial surgery and gain lots of weight. I went from 128lbs to 165lbs and feel depressed. Never had a problem with weight-EVER! I usually steam my veggies and eat a protein (BBQ) alot or fry in extra virgin olive oil. I will sometimes do salad instead of steamed veg. For lunch I have a sandwich or soup What do you think of this? And if drinking alcohol- what would you recommend- i like wine with dinner I am unable to work out for the next 3 months but then plann to- I do do out door activities 2-3 times a week.-tennis, golf- hucking a football, biking and walking
Your diet seems relatively healthy if you are using a reduced amount of carbohydrates with your vegetables/salad and protein. If these are reduced then it may help with weight loss, this is the low carbohydrate diet but if you prefer you can use a low fat/low calorie diet.
A small glass of alcohol is also not harmful.
The activities mentioned would also be considered exercise, at least 150 minutes weekly is recommended.
I hope this helps
