What Causes Weight Gain Despite Regular Exercise?

ive gained more than 100 pounds in less than a year after surgery. i eat proper ( approx 1200-1500 dalories per day) , exercise regular (aerobics 2 times a week and strength training daily) and cant lose a single pound. my doctor insists im not being truthful with what i eat or my activity because my thyroid tests have been fine. WHAT else could be wrong with me???

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are different diet plans to assist with weight loss and persons may have a varied response.

You are currently using a low calorie/low fat diet. If this diet is not working for you , you may want to consider one of the other options to see if it would be more effective for you .
The other type of diet is the low carbohydrate diet, in this case, carbohydrates are restricted. This includes foods such as rice/pasta/bread/potato/high carb vegetables and fruits/sodas

There are different meal plans available.

I hope this helps
