What Causes Weakness And Nausea While On Thyroid Medication?

I have been on thyroid medicine for over ten years now. I have done well so far......have had my meds adjusted several times throughout the years. I am now on home kidney dialysis. This past Thursday I had a heart catherization done because I was having symptoms that something was wrong with my heart. My tests came back good. There is nothing wrong with my heart. I am still having some issues.......by flashes, weakness and nausea. Could it be that my thyroid is off?

Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
First of all is important to know rather you have been treating for under or overactive thyroid.
Secondly i would recommend to check the thyroid hormones :
-TSH,FT4 and Ft3.
If they result to be abnormal, treatment should be started.
Hope the information will help.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
