What Causes Watery Eyes With Swollen Eyelids?

Hi,After crying for an extended period of time, one of my eyes became a bit red with tiny traces of redness. My eye is watery with a gritty sensation and my eyelids are swollen. There is not sharp pain but soreness, along with some light sensitivity. What might be the issue?Thanks!

youarehaving allergic conjunctivitis. it is not related extended period of time might be having dry eye and corneal erosion giving rise to photophobia. apply refresheye teardrop two times daily might be having associated blepharitis clean eyelid with sterile gauze.apply neosporine eye ointment in lid margin.there will be improvement. put on dark glass goggles.
