What Causes Watery Diarrhea Since A Month?

I have had watery diarrhea for a month. Now it has become the consistancy of baby food and does not have much of a smell. I ve had stool samples taken and were negative. I ve taken four different antibiotics and have three days left on the last ones. Yesterday I started to see blood in my urine and I m urinating less than usual but drinking large amounts of water. I have no other symptoms. Just very thirsty. Should I make another Dr s appointment? What could it be?

Hello

Thanks for asking query on HCM. After analysing your symptoms you have chronic diarrhea of probably small bowel origin. It appears to be significant because it is causing dehydration which is evidenced by increasing thirst and decreased urine. You would require systematic approach for the diagnosis because the causes can be varied including malabsorption. Kindly get evaluated from gastroenterologist. Till that time keep well hydrated with ORS solution and probiotics. Avoid milk in the mean time.

Take care.
