What Causes Warm Feeling In The Left Ear Canal?

I have Takayasus arteritis and have been in "Remission" for the last 4 years, off all meds apart from asprin. I have been getting a warm feeling in my left ear canal which lasts a few hours then goes away. What could it be? It isn't painfull. My left Carotid Artery has scarring and narrowing dune to the Tak.

Thus is due to arteritis only..better visit an ENT specialist for proper examination and to rule out any other cause
