What Causes Vomiting?

My 11 year old daughter has complained of nausea for the past 2 evenings. It has been around the same time each night. Last night after complaining with the nausea she went to bed and when she woke up this morning the symptoms were gone. She was fine all day, but this evening we were sitting on the couch watching television and she began complaining with the feeling sick and some pain in her lower belly. She ended up vomiting this time. She doesn t have a fever or any other symptoms.

Hi,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Thank you for your question.

Nausea can be due various reasons. If it is associated with headache it maybe due to migraine. If she feels nauseous after a eating something in particular then maybe she is allergic. I would suggest you to observe the associated symptoms and meet your family doctor if it persists for further evaluation.

I hope this answers your query. Good luck.

With best regards,
