What Causes Vomiting & Stomach Upsets?

Hi I have had a viral infection for 4-5 days now, the first couple days I ve been vomiting everything I eat and have no appetite. The vomiting stopped after a couple days but I still have an upset stomach and no appetite what so ever. I don t have diarrhoea. My doctor asked me if I could be pregnant and I said no as I was on my period and he said that doesn t mean anything. Is that true? Plus me and my boyfriend haven t had sex but sometimes we get to a point with just underwear on and get really close to our areas I ll straddle him. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? I m also getting a fast heartbeat

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about viral infection for 4-5 days, vomiting, upset stomach and loss of appetite, no pregnancy hence this cause is ruled out for vomiting.
There is no diarrhea.
This indicates that your may have post-viral throat infection or gastritis alone that caused vomiting.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
To get admitted to have clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of blood, urine and stool to possibly find the cause.
Ultrasonography and upper GI endoscopy to be done if required.
To get the symptomatic treatment as per the clinical findings, lab data and symptoms.
