What Causes Vomiting Of Thick And Bloody Phlegm?

Since June, I have been throwing up THICK phlegm. At first it was in the middle of the night and now it is EVERY morning. Sometimes there is blood in it and it literally brings me to tears because it s painful. Do you have any idea what this could be?

hi
the first thing to do is to visit a chest physician for x ray/MRI of chest and sputum examination for bacteria, fungi or microbes alongwith complete blood count,ESR etc.strains of blood in phlegm or hemoptysis warrants these mandatory tests. But do not panic, mild sputum softenng medicines and tranquilizers will control it together with antibiotics if your doctor detects infection.of-course radiology will rule out more severe causes.it is all manageable
best wishes
