What Causes Vomiting Containing Pinkish Tissue?

I was drinking all night etc... and threw up for a bit then passed out on the couch but when I saw the vomit it was pink and flesh like I wana know if it was possible that I throw up the inner lineing of my stomach and or eosophogas ? I am haveing some heart burn like feelings and pain in my upper stomach water seems to help wen I drink it laying down, how do I aid this or approach a remedy if any?

Hi,
If there is vomiting and abdominal cramps then there will be chances of electrolyte imbalance in the blood with gastric upset.

You should be immediately monitored for vitals signs like pulse,blood pressure etc.

You should be given plenty of water with lemon juice (added salt),coconut water or WHO oral rehydration solution.

The important thing is to combat vomiting and for which you would require antiemetic drugs (mostly injectable or oral) with antibiotics (norfloxacin with antiprotozoals like ornidazole preferred) with other water and electrolyte fluids.

So,it would be advisable that if you consult physician for all routine blood investigation and proper treatment.

Home treatment might help but you actually requires complete course of treatment as I explained.
