What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhea?

Hi. I threw up a few times today, have been getting diarrhea on and off for a while, and my head and hands feel tingly and weird. I don t have insurance.... Is this something that will go away, or do I have to suck it up and go to a clinic somewhere?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea which seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body and due to acute gastroenteritis and food poisoning.

Need not to worry. You should start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole. Avoid taking dairy products in excess. You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate yourself. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You can take banana on daily basis and light food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
