What Causes Vomiting And Acid Reflux After Eating Pizza?

Hi. I have mild reflux. Ate dinner tonight, pizza with Tabasco sauce, and fell asleep fairly sooner than usual. Woke up choking on reflux. The smell of the fluid I was coughing up was like vomit. I coughed up this disgusting foul vomit for almost 30 mins from my airway. My question is, how likely am I to develop aspiration pneumonia? I just don t know how much of it went down because I can still clear my throat and bring some mucus up, which wasn t there before I fell asleep. And my airway feels irritated deep down.

Hi,
it cant be an aspiration pneumonia, its just a severe reflux disease because of junk and spicy food what you had nothing to worry what ever symptoms you are describing are of GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux).
Avoid spicy and junk food.
Dont sleep immediately after having dinner, wait for atleast 1 hour after that.
Physical activity is must .
Proper sleep and less of stress.
Take tab Nexpro-RD for atleast 2 weeks and if necessary.
With this above measures you should be fine
Thank you
