What Causes Visible Veins On Breasts?

My 26 year old daughter has me concerned...she says that the veins on her breasts have become very much apparent over the past month. Her period ended 2 weeks ago as well. We are fair skinned and I as well have them but I m told its due to the swelling after mastitis ironically after I had her.

Dear thanks for the question.

I share your concerns. Yes your suspicion is correct but mastitis will be a painful condition. If pain is not there, there is lesser chances of mastitis.

Although examination of breast is required to say conclusively but my experience says it is physiological condition. In fair skin veins look prominent. During monthly cycle also breast physiology changes,. Breast enlarge before menstruation. In enlarged breast veins look prominent.

So if there is no pain, don't worry, no need to do anything. If pain comes immediately visit your doctor.

I hope this reply will benefit you. Please write for follow up queries. Kindly hit a thanks. Thank you
