What Causes Visibility Of Blue Veins On Thighs?

I am Rh negative. My son is Rh positive. I had two shots for that issue: one on 28 week of the pregnancy, and the other after delivery. My son has no apparent problems. However, his veins are very visible on his thighs and some on his right calf. He is also very emotional. Do you think he could have been affected somehow my our blood incompatibility even though I had the shots? How can I check that he has hemolytic problems? His doctor says he is ok, but I am still worried. Are there any tests that can be done?
