What Causes Vibrating Sensation Intermittently In Groin?

My husband is having a mild vibrating sensation intermittently in his right groin that seems to occur with the pulse. Vibrating pulses occur with the heart beat, seconds apart, but may subside totally for minutes at a time. Began a few days ago. Duration or intensity not increasing. No swelling or discoloration or coldness or numbness in that leg.
