Is it possible after a week to have vertigo a week after falling face down on a wood floor that caused a lump over my right eye and a black eye and other bruises to the lip and chin. I woke up with vertigo and the back of my neck and sholdar is very sore.

Dear friend first of all ,thank you for your consultation.it seems that you have injured yourself in front.the lump and black eye has been caused by local tissue damage and bleeding under tissue.if there is any bledding near the vicinity of your brain or under the skull bone then you can have vertigo.so please go for a CT Scan of your brain and frontal area of face to exclude this underlying bleeding.if there is no such recent bleeding then I sincerely believe you will be ok in a couple of days.thank you.
