Hello Doctor, Shortly after I arrived in HI on vacation with friends, I was exposed to the flu (one of our friend s kids got it, then everyone did). Mine manifested in the way of a few days of falling sensations (I assume flu-related), gradually getting more frequent until I finally fell sick with flu this following week. This falling type vertigo is continuing, sometimes even as I am lying down. It is not a spinning type. It feels fuzzy-headed sometimes. Have you seen this type of vertigo before, leading up to and accompanying the flu? I have to gly home tomorrow and I am sick (bronchitis now, still fever). Should I take a decongestant to help? Or anti-inflammatory like Advil? I ve been using medicines sparingly with this flu. -Amy
