What Causes Variation In Blood Pressure?

hello. I'm 23/F. I have low BP normally(100/70- today evening when I was completely feeling normal). Now and then I feel dizzy and very tired; its mostly before noon or sometimes after a long day out. Its been happening for many months, but I never consulted a doctor regarding this until yesterday. He prescribed me Rantac and after that he checked my BP which was then high 149/something which I did not hear. Is it normal? What could be the reason for this variation in blood pressure?

Hello
Variation in Blood Pressure (BP) during the day is a normal phenomenon. Before concluding that a patient has high or low BP I normally take several BP measurements over a few days to ascertain the broad range of the patient's BP.
I would suggest you do the same. This would help you get a more accurate picture regarding your BP.
Hope this helps. In case you would like more information do let me know.
All the best!
