What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Stomach Cramps After The Intercourse While Using Mirena?
I've had Mirena in place for a little over two years with no side effects at all. And my periods completely stopped the month after I got it put in. Never had a problem. Lately I noticed after sex with my husband I would start spotting. And after that stopped my whole entire abdomen would cramp horribly. Any ideas?

2)In such situation, as a treating doctor , I would suggest you to get gynec check up including per speculum and per vaginal examination.

3)Secondly, I will suggest a course of broad spectrum antibiotic like Doxycycline for a week, to get rid of genital tract infection if any.
