Hi, I m 21 years old. Never had any vaginal problem, I m taking my birth control pills, but it s the second time I have sexual intercross with my boyfriend and I bleed, the first time it was a lot we had to stop and there was no pain or burn. and now the second time after he was done I went to the RR and while cleaning myself I see the towls were with blood stains. With a little of burn now. And yes I ve had sex with other guys but never had this problem before.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Bleeding what you had following intercourse could be due to presence of uterine/cervical polyp or inflammation of cervix called 'cervicitis'. Also, it could be due to vaginal mucosa injuries caused during intercourse because of insufficient lubrication. Sometimes, bleeding can happen due to spotting while on birth control pills. You need to do the following to find out what could be cause which has contributed to bleeding, so that appropriate measures can be taken to get it treated. 1. Per speculum examination and clinical evaluation by consulting Gynecologist. 2. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis to know if there are any lesions present in uterus and cervix. Accordingly, it could be appropriately managed. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
