What Causes Vaginal Pain While Removing Tampon?

When I pulled my tampon out, I couldn't because it hurt so bad. When I finally managed to pull it out, one of the sides was bent. It's almost like it got caught on something. What happened and how can I stop this from happening? (This has never happened before)

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
As the tampon got deshaped you might have experienced pain as the tampon is designed to fit into the vaginal canal..
as a general advice tampons usage is not recommended now a days.. It may cause infection which may become severe and lead to septicemia..
You can think of other options and discuss with your doctor for further details..
I hope this information helps.. Will be available for further queries..
take care..
