What Causes Vaginal Pain And Diarrhea Post Colposcopy?

I am 26 years old, and have had problems since my first menstral cycle. Maternal family history is every woman down to my great great grandmother has had to have hysterectomy before the age of 30 for different reasons. For the past 5 weeks I have been in pain, caused by cysts on both ovaries and my cervix. My right Fallopian Tube is Enflammed and my pap came back abnormal and I just had a colposcopy today and they took a few samples. It was very painful even with the pain mess that I m taking including an anti inflammatory. The procedure was over 12 hours ago, and now I have more pain, and diarrhea. Is this normal?

hi healthcare magic user, since you have take antibiotics diarrhea could be antibiotic associated and pain in the vagina may be due to local irritation.
if I would have been your doctor I would have asked you to wait for pain relief for1day and could have started you on antibiotics which suits you and painkillers. in spite of that if pain is persistent then gone for local examination to check any injury.
