Hi there

Vaginal candidiasis also known as thrush or a yeast infection, is a common problem for females. Even though you treated it, it can recur.
You can get this type of infection repeatedly if you have uncontrolled diabetes or any other medical condition that affects your immune system. You are also more prone to this if you use a lot of douches or feminine hygiene products to wash the vaginal area. These products remove the normal good bacteria that your body has which protects against fungal over growth. This can also happen if you have taken antibiotics often.

I suggest that you avoid washing with any soaps or perfumed douches. Rather wash with water.
Use cotton underwear especially in humid conditions.
Also consider irritation from a sanitary pad. If you do use sanitary pads, consider contact dermatitis from the materials and chemicals in the pad. You can try a mild topical steroid cream with an anti fungal ointment to the affected area.

Hope this helps.
