What Causes Vaginal Itchiness After Using Flagyl Tablet?

I started taking flagyl for a vaginal infection a few days into it I started peeling and burning a little when I pee from my vagina then I started getting bad breathe and now my vagina clit is swollen and itchy am I allergic do I need to go to the ER I have taken it all and now a few days later Im itchy red not burning but super itchy

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. Flagyl (metronidazole) is given for bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis. I usually suggest a combination of metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole which also covers yeast infection also. You can get clotrimazole cream which is available as over the counter in brands like monistat for local application for yeast infection.
