What Causes Vaginal Infection?

Hi. I have noticed that there is white stuff on the sides of my vagina and I m guessing it s smegma? As gross as it sounds I m scared that it might have spread. If I were to accidentally touch it and then grab the sink afterwards would the bacteria stay there? How long would it last? I m scared because I ve already been around my house and I feel like there smegma everywhere! I need a realistic answer so I can calm down! Also if I were to touch something after I checked myself how much would I need to clean before it came off?

White discharge from vagina indicates infection. Common cause is yeast infection candidiasis.
Yeast infection commonly occur when there is change in pH. So maintain good health of vagina by using new pad every time, avoid tight clothing, maintain good air circulation.
You can use the reflesh solution which maintain vaginal pH.
For fungal infection, use clotrimazole vaginal suppository for a week.
If you are seeing smegma everywhere then consult a doctor.
