What Causes Vaginal Discomfort And Bleeding Post Intercourse?

The past two times I ve had sex with my husband, there has been blood on the condom and it continues to bleed a little after but only for like 30 minutes. I feel perfectly normal during sex but a little after I feel the affects of friction in my vagina. I am on Tri sprinter which is birth control and I m pretty good at taking it on time. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
i can understand your concern.
i would like to know you age since it would help in coming to adiagnosis.
bleeding post intercourse can be due to any infection or can also be a serious condition like cervical cancer. i would advise a thorough check up with a gynecologist. depending on the condition you will prescribed antibiotics or asked for a pap smear to be done. kindly do not ignore. hope you are satisfied with the response. thanks for choosing HCM
