What Causes Vaginal Bleeding With UTI?

Hi. Today I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a UTI. I got put on antibiotics and while the doctor tested my urine, she told me there was blood in it. I understand that this is normal since I have a UTI but I am concerned because the blood isn t coming out of the hole that I pee out of. It s coming out of the hole where I have my period?

I understand your concern.
Any stress of ill health / fever/ psychological stress causes hormonal disturbance.. which can lead to irregular bleeding. If you are sure the bleeding is not from urethra , You seem to have stress related change in your menses due to your UTI.
