General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
* Bleeding in 6th month of pregnancy can be due to
Fall/ injury to abdomen of mother,
Congenital malformations in baby,
High grade fever/ dehydration of mother,
High blood pressure in mother.
low lying placenta,Placenta previa,
From the information you have given it seems to be missed abortion, when there is fetal loss, baby stops growing. This is sometimes not expelled out, gets shrunken & size of baby gets smaller & deformed- so gender can not be detected.
The large amount of bleeding you had must have made the baby nonviable, --& the process explained above went on.
You should get it removed surgically
Thanks.
