What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking An I-pill?
Hello doctor... Me and girlfriend had unprotected sex before two days of due period.. To be on safer side she took ipill within 15 hrs...Same day after taking the pill she started her period.. How can i know that ipill worked and is it her normal period or just a side effect of ipill?? Thnx

Bleeding after the I Pill could be a breakthrough bleeding due to progesterone withdrawal effect.
Breakthrough bleeding is very light and for 1-2 days only.
Normal period is associated with the moderate to heavy bleeding for 3-5 days.
Chance of the pregnancy is nil as you did sex just 2 days before the normal expected period date.
