What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Discontinuing Contraceptive Pill While Sexually Active?
Hi there I have been on the contraceptive pill for the past year and I have just come off it four days ago. The first day I stopped it I had unprotected sex with my partner and then the next day I started bleeding. My bleeding lasted two and a half days but I had been told that bleeding would last around two weeks . I have not had a period for 1 year as I didn t take the non hormone pills from each month of my packet. I just want to know if I could have ovulated in the past three days ? Even though I have been bleeding most of it ?

As you were on this pill and had sex during last days of your expected date of period, there is less risk of having pregnancy.
And again you got period after sex, chances are remote.
