What Causes Uterine Contractions During Pregnancy?

My daughter is 36 weeks pregnant and having bad cramping and some contractions and occasional headache. Today she had to stop and sit because of the pain/cramping. This has been happening for 3 days now. She has her next ob appt in 2 days. Do you think its early labor signs?

Hi, thanks for writing..
Yes, if the contractions are associated with pain there is chance she is going for labour.. It would be better to go to ER and get a check whither she is dilating and whether there is contractions,, Keep a check on the baby movements.. Head ache in pregnancy has to checked.. Increase in BP can cause headache.. If it is due to BP it has to treated otherwise plain analgesic will be sufficient..Hope i have answered your query.. Good day..
