What Causes Urine Infections Frequently?

I was having frequent urine infections since 15 years every two years I have the infection and blood used to go in the urine. now it has reduced since 3 years. I had histroctomy 3 years back and last year I suffered herpis and was treated. now recently my urine examination showed plenty of pus cells in the report when I went with some back pain, hypertension, bronchities etc. to a physician. he prescribed Cifran 500 mg two time a day for 10 days and then Niftran 100mg daily night for 10 days. How safe to use the antibiotics for such a long time for my. I am a hypertension, angina, bronchities and obesity person. Is is safe to use Niftran 100mg now. please advise.

Hello Dear thanks for you question. If you’re susceptible to recurring urinary tract infections, make sure to urinate as often as needed (especially after intercourse), wipe front to back after urinating, drink plenty of water to flush bacteria out of your system, drink cranberry juice daily, wear cotton underwear, avoid tight-fitting pants, avoid using diaphragms and spermicides for birth control, use lubrication during sex, if necessary, avoid bubble baths, wash foreskin regularly if you’re uncircumcised.
on the issue of the drugs to my own opinion there is nothing wrong for you to use those drugs unless you react to them.
