Hi,

I am sorry to know about your difficult situation. However, there is no need to despair, since your condition is treatable.
I need to know a little more about you to properly guide you. Do you have urine leak or just the urge to go to bathroom often? Please mention your age, sex, duration of symptoms, associated symptoms like burning sensation while passing urine or pain in abdomen, previous medical conditions, past surgeries and any drugs that you have been taking.
The initial work up will be a complete voiding diary (i.e. noting down how much fluids you intake and how much urine you pass, along with timings for 2 days), physical examination by a Urologist, urine microscopic examination and ultrasound KUB (kidney, ureter and bladder). Further investigations can be based on these tests.
If there is no specific cause like infection, stone or overproduction of urine, your problem could also be due to an overactive bladder. All these conditions are easily manageable once properly diagnosed.
Please return to me with the above mentioned details so that I can guide your further.
Meanwhile, try restricting fluid intake and avoiding caffeinated drinks.
Hope I have answered your query,
Wish you good health and speedy recovery,
Dr. Raguram.
