What Causes Urinary Bladder Infection?
I had surgery to remove all my female organs in Dec. of 2010... I had to go back to surgery 2 days later because a sponge was left in me...I was on a vertulator for 7 days afterwards in ICU...I had a cath for 11 days and now I have bladder infections all the time. The pressure in my pelvic area gets so bad I have to go to the ER and the hosp. can't seem to figure out what is going on...What do you think all the pressure above my pelvic area is...I have been to sooooooo many dr. I cana't count and they can't figure it out...Had test to make sure my bladder is empting but....Can't find nothing..Can u lead me into the right direction or help me...Thank you.

1. Inflammation in gall bladder due to infection it could be fibrosed. Some amount of urine collection could be interpreted as excessive pressure.
2. Do get a urine microscopy to rule out current infection.
3. A cystoscopy could identify any bladder pathology. If required, a biopsy may be taken for confirmation. The pressure above pelvic area is definitely a bladder problem.
