What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain Around Liver?
Hi. When I bend to left or right while sitting i think i can feel my liver and it hurts a little bit. It may e because of my sitting position before i felt my liver. I am very worried. Could you,please, tell me why i might feel my liver and give advice? thank you.

Although the history which you have provided is limited,i would suggest that you get an ultrasound of the abdomen n liver function tests done.This is because I am considering a diagnosis of fatty liver in your case.this can be age rekated or it could also be due to consumtion of excessive alcohol.there are various infective causes also but i would primarily consider these two.if in case you have no history of excessive alcohol consumption,there can also be a possibility of NASH(Non alcoholic steatohepatitis) in which there is fatty enlargement of the liver.i sugget you get a liver function profile and anultrasound done so that we can confirm the reason why you are experiencing pain in the region of your liver.hope this information was helpful.
