What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain After Having Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy?

HI Doctor, My mother recently got operated for Laparoscopic cholecystectom. Post operation she is getting severe pain in upper abdomen as well in the back. Only after she vomits the pain stops. She is vomitting some white liquid assuming it to be cold. She is getting this pain three times a day and last for 2 to 3 hours. Kindly advice.

Hi, I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) Symptoms that your mother is having can be due to post operation stress or stomach problem due to medicines used in the recent past, called as Gastritis.

3 ) I will suggest that she should have Cap Pan D Sr twice a day thirty minutes before the meals for ten days. I will suggest to avoid deep fried foods, bakery products and refined sugars.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
