What Causes Upper Abdomen Pain And Fever?
My son is suffering from upper abdomen pain & fever since 1 week, his age is 15 years, undergone test like CBP, ESR, Bile Pigments, Bile Exam Widal Test & Scanning, in ESR test ESR levels are very high & in scanning got the report as "mild splenomalgy". Kindly suggest.

Good evening. High ESR and splenomegaly indicate an infection. He needs antibiotics for the infection. If he is not able to tolerate orally maybe iv.I mam not too sure about your location.but yes antimalarials will be needed if malaria is prevalent there
