What Causes Unusual Bruises On Hand Post Endoscopy And Colonoscopy?
Good Afternoon, I had an endoscopy & colonoscopy on Wed. There was a hematoma on my hand when I got home about the size of a golf ball. I put ice on it. The swelling went down but the entire top of my hand is bruised. Not too concerned but today, it seems that there is some red streaking near the third and fourth knuckles. Could this just be that the bruise is healing or should I be concerned? Thanks.

Yes you should be concerned with this. This is due to some injury or infection on your hand. You may have inadvertently injured it during your hospital visit or at home. Some needle stick injuries chances are also there.
My advice is you visit dermatologist for this. He will examine your lesions and prescribe appropriate antibiotic ointment. You can also apply povidone iodine ointment on it.
