What Causes Unpleasant Odor From Penis After A Circumcision?
Hi, I am 6 day post op from a circumcision. While the pain has been receding and the swelling has gone down slightly today I noticed a foul smell coming from my penis. While i can see no discharge or puss im not 100% sure as its hard to see past stitches and cut. I imagine it could be an infection but could there be any other reason?

Post circumcision you might be on regular dressing .....
Here if hygein not maintained then also bad odor can be there.
So while doing dressing when cotton opened normal saline used for clearing circumscribed area.....
Second possibility if infection also can be there if pus leakage from stitch....
So for that antibiotic like cefixime for one week.....
Regular dressing done by general surgeon...
Healthy and balanced diet taken with more fruits....
Don't worry ...
Wound will healed in few days....
