What Causes Unintentional Weight Loss And Heart Palpitation?

Hi

I am 45 and pretty fit. However, in the last couple of months have noticed significant (unintentional) weight loss and have had frequent heart palpatations when not exerting myself. Weight loss is abt 6 kg in 6 weeks, and I am now 92kg. Should I be concerned?

Hi thanks for posting on hcm.
I would recommend you to get a thyroid profile done as the combination of symptoms you mentioned are most commonly found in thyroid dysfunction. To be on safe side I would suggest you to get an ecg done in view of palpitations.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Regards
