ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and here I would like to tell you that usually one sided throat pain without fever are due to ulcer on soft palate / uvula / anterior pillar of tonsil / base of tongue on affected side. Most of the time these are dyspeptic (associated with gastric upset) but infective pathology is also quite common.

Other possibility is of tonsillar cyst & tonsillolith (stone in tonsil).

It will be advisable to consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination to pin point the diagnosis that may be accordingly manage.

Probably your query is answered but you are free to re consult us for any doubt.

Thanks.
