What Causes Undiagnosed Chronic Nausea, Vomiting And Stomach Pain?
Good Afternoon.. My sister has gastric problem...We have visited many doctors for that...and also have many test still anyone cant find the disease. We have done endoscopy, city scan etc many reports...she suffer a lot.. She cant eat even for 10-15 days..disease such as continuos nozea, vomit , stomach pain
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about your sister and understood your concerns. Continuous nausea, vomiting and stomach pain without any diagnosis in spite of CT scan and Endoscopy indicate further evaluation. The most probable diagnosis can be as follows: Intestinal obstruction due to stricture or edema in jejunum or compression form outside on the intestine. Medical problems like kidney problems wherein urea and creatinine are raised. Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation: Clinical evaluation, examination by a General Surgeon. Repeat investigations. Tests of blood for kidney and liver functions. X-ray of the abdomen when there is pain and vomiting. Any other investigations as would be advised on clinical evaluation. All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus tell us the plan of management.
