What Causes Unconsciousness And Frothing At Mouth?
This morning my father, aged 89 years, has collapsed unconscious on the sofa and was foaming with blood from his mouth and nose. He is now in intensive care in hospital and no doctor can figure out what he has. MRi is ok, had his heart checked out fine just a few days ago. Any ideas?

Hi sir/ma'am....Most probably your father had seizure attack during morning time. many times in case of generalised seizure MRI Brain 'll be normal...antiepileptic drugs will require with evaluation of other causes of unconsciousness like low sodium , low blood sugar , ...he might require EEG... and repeat MRI if necessary.
