What Causes Twitching In The Lower Abdominal Area?
Hello I am a 20 year old female, overweight and I have currently been experiencing twitching in my lower abdomen and sometimes it even feels like my ovary is twitching. I have been TTC for 3 years with one loss, but this cannot be pregnancy related because I have not TTC in about 3 weeks. I am also taking Ovulex but the twitching has happened many times before. What can I do?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here and I could say that the twitching sensation may not be due to ovary but it could be nonspecific one, it may be uterine contraction due to hormone changes but it gives the pain sensation and not the twitching sensation or else you might not be able to judge or differentiate this. Lower abdomen symptoms in females demands the medical attention, you can wait for few days and it will be fine and if not then you will have to go for investigations like, first is urine test, second is plain x-ray abdomen and third is ultrasonography test. hope this information helps.
