What Causes Twitching In Eye Lids?

My left eye started twitching with my upper lid. Now its starts in my lower lid but as things progress it feels like my eye balls itself is moving. This happens very frequently and it has now started in my right eye as well but not as frequent. I research and the causes of things like stress and fatigue but I am neither of these nor do I drink and smoke. What can this be?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having twitching of the eyelids. The common causes are stress and intake of caffeine containing drinks like coffee as you have mentioned in the history.
The treatment should include avoiding the intake of caffeine containing drinks and avoiding stress. Applying cold compression to the eyelids may provide symptomatic relief.
If the symptoms fail to respond then need evaluation for other causes which lead to irritation of the facial nerve causing twitching like inflammations of the eye or irritation of the facial nerve.

Thank you
